Have you ever loved someone deeply, but still felt something essential was missing? Sometimes, relationships start with a spark that will fade without emotional compatibility. This kind of harmony — being able to support and empathise with each other — can be the difference between a relationship that fulfils you and one that leaves you feeling drained or turns into a controlling nightmare. It happened to me.

This is my peculiar journey of how I turned to the ancient practice of casting spells as a last resort, searching for a sense of control in a stifling relationship. But I need to start at the beginning!

The illusion of compatibility

Way back in 2006, I met Andy while gaming. I seriously thought we had the makings of a meaningful bond, so I was happy to invest time, encouragement and, most of all, love in our relationship.
