Our Kids Can Hear Us Having Sex

Are we traumatizing them, or reassuring them of our love?

Jack and I had just wrapped up a Saturday afternoon yoga session with a quickie.

We’d invited the kids to do yoga with us, as we almost always do, but nobody had accepted our offer, so it was just the two of us. We zenned out as we moved and stretched, getting our blood flowing and our minds relaxed in the present moment.

After we lay for several minutes in savasana, our final resting pose, Jack crept over to my yoga mat and positioned himself between my legs. One thing led to another, and within twenty minutes I’d had several amazing orgasms, some from cunnilingus and others from my favorite missionary position, him on top grinding against me.

This time, that position led to Jack’s release, too. It was an amazing way to clear the cache and reenergize for the evening ahead.

I felt the love as we cuddled for a few moments afterwards, still on my yoga mat, basking in the late afternoon sun streaming through our bedroom windows. I felt filled with goodness and light as we cleaned up and put away our mats. I felt downright chipper as we headed downstairs, checking on the kids as we made our way through the house.
